Alternative betting limits for lock Picks.

This is a way to bet the lock picks without risking too much money on the second and third bets. You bet the first bet in the series to win your normal amount. If the first bet losses you make the second bet to win back the amount you lost on the first bet and ½ of the amount you wanted to win. If you lose the second bet you bet the amount you lost on the first two bets plus ¼ of the original amount you wanted to win. This way you still have a small profit without an enormous amount of money on the third bet because of the -170 vig when you buy three points. These are the examples and amounts for the $25 & $50 bettor.

Your initial bet is to win $25. You buy three points at -170.

You wager $42.50 (25 x 1.7 = 42.5)

to win $25

If you lose you will wager $93.50 (55 x 1.7 = $93.50)

to win $55 (42.50 + 12.50 = 55)

If you lose you will wager $170 (100 x 1.7= 170)

To win $100 (93.50 + 6.25= 99.75) (round off to 100)

$50 bettor

Bet to win:

$50 first bet –

$25 second bet –

$12.50 third bet

Your initial bet is to win $50. You buy three points at -170.

You wager $85 (50 x 1.7 = 85)

to win $50

If you lose you will wager $187 (110 x 1.7 = $187)

to win $110 (85+ 25= 110)

If you lose you will wager $340 (200 x 1.7 = 340

To win $200 (187 + 12.50 = 199.50) (round off to 200)
